Prospective MSc Students

If you are interested in pursuing a MSc Degree in Veterinary Medicine at UFU, you must have a bachelor´s or associate degree in any field of study. Prospective Master’s Students may contact the office of the Graduate Program in Veterinary Medicine (E-mail: daise.rossi@ufu.br) for further information on the admission process.

Program Requirements

Master students in the Graduate Program in Veterinary Medicine are expected to be enrolled in the course for at least one year and at most, for two years, in a full-time study. The program requirements to get a Master's degree are:

  • to complete 25 credits in core and elective graduate-level courses;
  • to take and be approved in "Seminars I and II";
  • students with scholarships must assist professors and teach undergraduate students;
  • students will be evaluated by an examining committee and must pass;
  • students must be approved after dissertation's defense.
